Welcome to MyPanchang, an app developed by Rad Soft, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). At MyPanchang, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of user data when you use our mobile application (the "App").
MyPanchang is designed to provide users with Panchang (Hindu calendar) data. We do not collect any personal information other than the following:
We collect information related to how you use the App, such as the features you access, the date and time of your interactions, and technical information about your device.
To provide you with accurate Panchang information tailored to your location, MyPanchang may access your device's geolocation data. We do not save or process this data on our servers.
The App may access your device's date, time, and timezone settings to synchronize Panchang data with your local time. This information is never saved beyond the immediate functionality of the App.
When you use the Luna feature, your messages are sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI and Anthropic) for processing. These messages may include Panchang-related context such as the current date, location name, and relevant calendar data to provide accurate responses. No personally identifiable information is included.
We use the information collected for app improvement, technical support, and aggregated analytics to understand how the App is being used.
MyPanchang includes Luna, an AI-powered assistant that answers questions about Panchang, festivals, and Vedic astrology. When you use Luna:
Your messages and relevant Panchang context are sent to OpenAI and/or Anthropic (Claude) APIs to generate responses. The provider used depends on your selected model. This data is processed in accordance with each provider's usage policies. We do not send any personal information such as your name, email, or location alongside your messages.
Luna conversations are stored locally on your device. We do not store your conversations on our servers.
Luna usage is subject to daily message limits based on your subscription tier. These limits are tracked locally on your device.
We have opted out of having your data used to train AI models. Your conversations are used solely to generate responses and are not retained by OpenAI or Anthropic for model improvement.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We may share usage data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating and improving the App. When you use Luna, your messages are sent to OpenAI and/or Anthropic for processing as described above.
MyPanchang complies with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in the countries where the App is available.
You have the following choices regarding your data:
You may request access to the usage data we have collected about you and request corrections if needed.
You can request the deletion of your usage data by contacting us at the email address provided below.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the App. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure.
MyPanchang is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on our website and update the "Last updated" date.
