Yamuna Chhath

The appearance day of the river goddess Yamuna, observed on the sixth lunar day of the bright fortnight of Chaitra. Devotees bathe in the Yamuna and perform her worship, especially in the Braj region and among Pushtimarg Vaishnavas.
