Mauna Ekadashi

The Ekadashi of the bright fortnight of Margashirsha observed by Jains with a complete vow of silence, fasting and worship commemorating one hundred and fifty auspicious events in the lives of the Tirthankaras. Some Vaishnava households also keep silence on this day.
