Makaravilakku

The concluding festival of the Sabarimala pilgrimage season, held on Makara Sankranti day when the deity is adorned with the Thiruvabharanam ornaments and the Makara Jyothi light is sighted on the eastern horizon. It draws the largest single-day gathering of Ayyappa devotees.
