Gowardhan Puja

Celebrates Krishna lifting Mount Govardhan to shelter the people of Braj from Indra's rains, observed the day after Diwali on Kartika Shukla Pratipada. Devotees build a hillock of cow dung or food and offer a mountain of dishes (annakut) to the deity.
