Anant Chaturdasi

The shukla chaturdashi of Bhadrapada, on which Vishnu is worshipped as Ananta and a fourteen-knotted sacred thread is tied on the arm. It is also the concluding day of Ganeshotsav, when Ganesha idols are taken in procession for immersion, and Jains observe it as the last day of Paryushana.
